LIEUTENANT DAN CAN HAVE MAGIC LEGS! true story, these are some kickass bionic legs on an exoskeleton that will promise to help paraplegics walk. Watch the video, its pretty good.

From what it looks like, the crutches, when moved forward, will move the opposite leg (as the natural movement of your arms is the opposite to your legs). So the Right crutch, when moved forward and pressure applied, "walks" the left leg forward and vice versa. 

Pretty kickass tech there. Just gotta work on the response time and have it mind controlled like the Mind Controlled Wheelchair and you've got yourself walking people again!

Seeing with your tongue. The Brainport system uses a camera setup to look at objects and translates them on the tongue as stimulus to get the brain to "see" without the eyes.
